The Juniors gained some invaluable experience in Cardiff on Sunday on their first International fixture across the border in Wales. This historical occasion was also marked as the first time in 2026 that it didn't rain.
Emma and Ava tag teamed the Ninjas in defence, sweeping away Drew's saves out wide to Ashie and Georgia who tried in vain to get the ball past the slightly older and taller opposition. The pace never slowed with Page working hard in the middle to keep all of the attacks alive. High energy was maintained from start to finish in the first ever full game for our Little Legends who delighted the capacity crowd and held their heads high to the end of the last quarter.
Congratulations to Norah who was voted "dame of the game" by the opposition at the end of the game.
With grateful thanks to Ieuan Davies, of https://www.madhockeycoaching.com/ for inviting our teams over to Cardiff to play.
